Many clients I have worked strive to get that "conversational" feel/tone for their project. However, it's not uncommon for a client to say "It just doesn't sound natural...it sounds like your reading a script." What I have learned, after doing thousands of voiceovers and seeing thousands of scripts, is there is a common problem. Scripts are often written more with the intention of someone reading them (quietly to themselves) versus a voiceover talent speaking the words out loud in a conversational way. Believe it or not there is a big difference. Words on paper don't normally reflect how we talk in the real world. So the intent of this gig is as follows- work closely with you to help adjust your script so it flows more like a 1:1 conversation, deliver a voiceover that actually feels intimate and conversational in nature and while ensuring the core elements of your message remain intact.
